The result was a study of the respondents ' genetic characteristics (identification of polymorphic markers of the DRD4, COMT, SLC6A4, MAOA genes) and features of cortical activity (EEG) of carriers of different polymorphic variants of these genes during the analysis of neutral and emotionally colored images of faces and scenes. DNA analysis makes it possible to determine the individual genotype of each subject by a combination of the DRD4, COMT, SLC6A4, and MAOA genes, which can determine the features of the subjects ' emotional response; this will allow us to determine the influence of polymorphism of these genes on the EEG features associated with the perception of emotionally colored images.
